Stylish Pousada Abracadabra is surrounded by lush gardens overlooking a beautiful bay and next to the famous Rua das Pedras street in central Buzios, a fashionable resort town near Rio.

One of the best diving spots is the island of Ilha da Ancora, a half-hour’s boat ride away. The visibility for diving is good year round but in May to June it can be limited by stronger winds. A stay in Buzios combines well with Rio de Janeiro. The Guapi Assu Bird lodge in the Atlantic rainforest is also within a two-hour drive.

3 jaguars!! on two separate days. On the first sightings, guide driver and self sat in the boat from 12.35 till 6am watching Geoff [the jaguar] and his sister Estelle. On the second, two days later, I was able to sit on the opposite bank with my tripod and got perfectly steady film.
