Finch Bay Eco Hotel
The 27-room Finch Bay Eco Hotel is the most comfortable hotel in Puerto Ayora, the main town on Santa Cruz Island, Galapagos. It is located in front of a mangrove-lined beach across the bay from town in a peaceful, car-free location. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, lounge, outdoor Jacuzzi and swimming pool. The 21 Garden View rooms and 6 Ocean View suites have private bathrooms, and comfortable beds with fine linens; other amenities include free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning.
The hotel organises walks to nearby visitor sites and excellent boat trips to neighbouring islands using its own luxury vessel. Three, four and seven night naturalist packages and four and seven night scuba diving packages can also be arranged. Finch Bay has been awarded the Smart Voyager Certificate for adherence to sound conservation practises.
