The new Hotel was once the Old Stock Exchange Building which first opened in 1929 and it has retained the exterior of the old building, including notable features from its days as a traditional trading floor. The best of the old structure has been combined with sustainability, energy conservation and modern efficiencies.

Inside the hotel there is a Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar, with fresh seafood, grilled meats and lush vegetables, with an engaging lively 40-foot cocktail bar. There is also the Hydra Bar and The Hydra Café in the lobby to escape to. The Patio rooftop features a variety of stone and wood landscape features outdoor cafe seating and a handsome seasonal cocktail bar.
