We first went to Madagascar in 1992. The country was under a rigid communist dictatorship: it had terrible hotels and few visitors. Now there is improved infrastructure and a good range of medium- to high-quality accommodation. And of course, its unique wildlife is as wonderful as ever and a visit by you will help preserve it for the future.
